By creating an account or using r8r, you agree to these Terms. If you do not agree, do not use the service.

r8r is a personal media rating platform that lets you score films, TV shows, books, games, and music using weighted category breakdowns. We reserve the right to modify, suspend, or discontinue any part of the service at any time.

• You must be at least 13 years old to use r8r.
• You are responsible for maintaining the security of your account credentials.
• You may not create accounts for the purpose of abuse, spam, or impersonation.
• You may delete your account at any time via Settings.

You retain ownership of the ratings and reviews you post. By submitting content, you grant r8r a non-exclusive, royalty-free licence to display and distribute that content within the service.

You must not post content that is:

• Illegal, harassing, defamatory, or hateful.
• Spam, misleading, or inauthentic.
• In violation of any third party's intellectual property rights.

We reserve the right to remove content that violates these rules and to suspend accounts that repeatedly do so.

You agree not to:

• Attempt to access, scrape, or reverse-engineer any part of the service without authorisation.
• Interfere with or disrupt the service or its infrastructure.
• Use the service to distribute malware or engage in phishing.

r8r displays media metadata sourced from OMDB, Google Books, and Apple iTunes. We are not affiliated with or endorsed by these services. Media titles, artwork, and descriptions remain the property of their respective owners.

r8r is provided "as is" without warranty of any kind. We do not guarantee uninterrupted or error-free operation. Use the service at your own risk.

To the fullest extent permitted by law, r8r and its operators shall not be liable for any indirect, incidental, or consequential damages arising from your use of the service.

We may suspend or terminate your account if you breach these Terms. You may stop using the service and delete your account at any time.

We may update these Terms from time to time. Continued use of r8r after changes are posted constitutes your acceptance of the revised Terms.
